Stream Sampling: Macroinvertebrates with Montgomery County Naturalist and NWD

We will meet at an easy-access site along the East Nishnabotna and learn the ins and outs of water quality monitoring. MCC Naturalist, Cassandra Barbosa is certified in Save Our Streams water monitoring and will be assisted by the Nishnabotna Water Defenders to teach participants how to gather and record data. Learn how to do a series of chemical tests and sample for benthic macroinvertebrates.
