About the event
Iowa has the second-highest cancer rate in the nation, and it is one of only three states where rates are currently increasing. If you are concerned about Iowa’s future or have been personally impacted by cancer, please join us for an important community conversation.
The authors of the new report, “Environmental Risk Factors and Iowa’s Cancer Crisis,” will be in Southwest Iowa on July 8 to present their findings on the links between cancer and pesticides, nitrate, PFAS, and radon. You’ll also learn about actionable ways to get involved in the movement for change and connect with local organizations.
We are hosting two sessions.
